New name and new location for Brussels car show

Flanders Expo in Ghent will host the Belgium Auto Show in March. The event is the new name for the Brussels Auto Show, which took place for the first time last year as an alternative to the traditional Brussels Motor Show.

After more than 100 editions, there was no Brussels Motor Show in 2024. To fill the gap caused by the show’s absence, a separate group of organisers launched the Brussels Auto Show.

The concept is now moving to Ghent for its second edition, and is changing its name: the Belgium Auto Show, held at Flanders Expo during the last weekend of the spring holidays. There will be an indoor and outdoor section, covering 70,000 square metres of exhibition space.

Among the attractions will be a catwalk of cars. “We are going to show hypercars and supercars there,” says organiser Ronald van den Broeck. “There will be a spectacular outdoor area with rally car demonstrations, stunts and drift shows.”

Up to 90,000 visitors are expected to attend over three days.
