America 250 in Brussels in pictures

US Ambassador Bill White hosted a party to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence from Britain in the Jubel Park in Brussels on Sunday. Here are a few of the snaps taken during this monumental event in one of the most iconic locations of the Belgian nation.

It was an exceptional occasion.
Many enjoyed the fly-past.
Guests eagerly networked.
