A man has been hospitalised after he crashed his car through the wall of a house in the Flemish Brabant municipality of Meise. The exact circumstance surrounding the crash are still unknown.
The driver escaped with minor injuries and no one in the house was injured. The Fire Service had to shore up the façade of the house on the Oppemstraat. Firefighters also had to free the motorist from his vehicle.
Wouter Jeanfils of the Flemish Brabant West Fire Service told VRT News that the motorist was slightly injured and taken to hospital in shock. The initial findings of a structural inspection of the house show that there is no risk of collapse. However, the façade of the house propped up for safety reasons."
