She is followed by tens of thousands of people around the world. Chloé has now also been nominated for the Streamer Awards in the United States.

Chloé Schepers from Tienen is 26 and has been a lorry driver for seven years. She became world famous several months ago, although this was not really her intention. ‘It all happened very quickly,’ she says. ‘I started filming myself while I was driving, and then I started livestreaming it. I noticed that a lot of people started watching.’
A lonely job
Chloé started filming because the job of a lorry driver is a rather lonely existence. By sharing the videos, she receives chat messages from her many dedicated followers. That makes her feel less alone. ‘Many people probably click on my channel because they don't expect to see a girl in a lorry. I hear that people find my streams soothing.’
Meanwhile, live streaming is also generating income, and Chloé has been nominated for the Streamer Awards in America. ‘It's a kind of Oscar for people who broadcast live,’ she explains. On 6 December, she will attend the awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
83,000 followers and growing
You can see what a typical working day looks like for Chloé on the Chloe__IRL channel on the internet platform Twitch. ‘I currently have around 83,000 followers, most of them I gained during the last few months. Some videos attract more than 277,000 views.’
