Flemish media group Roularta signs deal to print all the Financial Times’ UK magazines
The Financial Times has been a customer of Roularta Printing since 2023. The company and various FT magazines destined for mainland Europe, South Africa and the Middle East have already rolled of the presses at Roeselare. These include ‘How To Spend It’, ‘Art of Fashion’, ‘Business Education’ and “FT Wealth”.
Both sides are more than satisfied with their collaboration thus far and have now decided to extend it to cover the various FT magazines that are on sale in the UK. In addition to these Roularta will also print the ‘FT Weekend Magazine’, the weekend supplement to the paper’s UK edition.
Speaking on Tuesday, Roularta Printing’s Steven Renders told journalists that “Hundreds of thousands of magazines will now be sent to the United Kingdom every week”.
In addition to its work for the FT and many major media groups in Belgium and neighbouring countries, Roularta also prints the monthly lifestyle supplement T Magazine that is included with the international edition of the New York Times. The Roeselare printing plant is capable of printing up to 1 million magazines a day.
