Until early January the seaside resort of Ostend is hosting a special light installation festival Lichtgolf or ‘Light Wave’. It’s a brand-new light trail through the city centre. During the walk that covers just under 4 kilometres, you can hear stories about local life told by local people, a young beachcomber girl or a fisherman. This new initiative is proving exceedingly popular this Christmas. Report: Pascale Mertens.
