As there still may be unexpected cancellations, Flemish local transport company De Lijn advises passengers to check its route planner online regularly.

Services of the Brussels local transport company MIVB and the Walloon regional transport company TEC are also disrupted. According to the latest information, the following lines are operating in Brussels:

METRO: lines 1 and 5

TRAM: lines 4, 7, 8, 10, 82, 92 and 93 (only between Stadion and Park) and very few trams on lines 7, 8 and 10

BUS: lines 36 and 71

Frequencies will be much lower than on a normal day.

Less than half of Ghent's buses and trams are running

De Lijn's services in Ghent are severely disrupted today. Less than half of the buses and trams are running, which means that many stops are barely served or not served at all.

Many commuters seemed to have prepared for the situation and planned alternatives or left earlier. As a result, there was no pushing and shoving anywhere, and the platforms remained remarkably quiet. The buses that are running are well filled but not overcrowded.
