It is not only public transport that is disrupted today in Brussels. Refuse collector Net Brussel also expects major disruption to household waste collection.
Net Brussel is therefore asking all residents of the Brussels Region only to put out the white bags for residual waste and the orange bags for food waste. The collection of other bags (the blue ones for PMD and the yellow ones for paper and cardboard) will be postponed.
PMD stands for plastic and metal packaging plus drinks cartons.
