5 people have been injured after a bus operated by the Flemish public transport company De Lijn crashed into a lorry in the West Flemish town of Ieper.
The lorry driver suffered the most serious injuries. He was conscious but trapped inside his cab. The Fire Service was able to free him.
In addition to the bus driver there were 3 passengers on the bus. They suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The accident happened on the Diksmuidseweg. The road was closed for a time on Wednesday morning.
