The July 15 deadline applies to citizens without 'specific income ' including the profits, benefits and fees paid to business owners and spouses working at their company or people with foreign income. The deadline applies to online amendments to the simplified declaration proposal made by the tax authorities and to any amendments to an online declaration already filed.
Last year, a record total of 2 million people filed their returns online. Yesterday around noon, the counter stood at nearly 1,700,000, figures from the tax authorities showed.
For people with ‘specific income’, there is still time until 16 October.
