The Belgian Cats, the Belgian women’s basketball team, have been honoured after their victory in the European championships. The Cats beat Spain 65-67 in a nail-biting final on Sunday.
King Filip invited the team to the royal palace and Brussels before they were honoured on the balcony of Brussels city hall on Brussels historic market square. Large crowds turned out to celebrate their victory.
