Prince Emmanuel’s DJ alter ego unmasked

Prince Emmanuel, the youngest son of King Filip and Queen Mathilde, is not only a talented footballer but also a DJ, it turns out. Under the pseudonym Vyntrix, the 19-year-old prince has already released several songs.

Vyntrix recently released two songs: the summery Rio on 16 June, followed by the aptly named Palace a week later.

Rio listed “Emmanuel de Saxe” as the composer, a reference to his identity – Emmanuel of Saxe-Coburg – and his musical background as a saxophonist.

Wearing ski goggles and a black scarf, he kept his identity well hidden, but it has now been confirmed that he is indeed the son of King Filip and Queen Mathilde.

His cousin Prince Aymeric, son of Prince Laurent, appears to be a fan: he follows DJ Vyntrix on social media and also posted a photo of him on an Instagram story.

It’s not yet clear how seriously he is taking his career as a DJ. It is a hobby, but one for which he is taking lessons. In any case, musicality runs in the family: Filip, Mathilde, Crown Princess Elisabeth and Prince Gabriel play the piano, while his younger sister, Princess Eléonore, plays the violin.

This is not the first time Prince Emmanuel has surprised us with a hidden talent. Last year, he took a language and sports course at a football academy in Spain. Until then, no one knew he played football.
