Wednesday is sunny with temperatures varying between 25°C at the coast and 30°C in the Kempen area in Antwerp and Limburg Provinces. During the night cloud will increase from the southwest and thunderstorms will sweep the country. They could be intense at times. Consequently, KMI has issued a Code Yellow warning for storms tonight. The warning applies to the whole country and is in force from midnight tonight until 6pm tomorrow.

Code Yellow means that large amounts of precipitation could fall in a short space of time with gusts of high wind and hailstones measuring 1 to 2cm in diameter.

Thursday will start off cloudy with rain and thunderstorms. Later it will become dry from the west. Maximum temperatures will reach 20°C at the seaside and 24°C in the Ardennes. Winds will be slight to moderately strong south-westerly. In coastal areas there could be gusts of up to 60km/h.

Friday will be predominantly dry with sun and some cloud.

At the weekend it will become warmer again with temperatures reaching as high as 31°C in inland areas. At the start of next week, it will become warmer still with temperatures forecast to reach 35°C.
