No passenger flights will leave Brussels Airport (Flemish Brabant) during the trade unions' national day of action on 25 June. The airport points to the strike that will involve a large number of employees, including security staff.
As smooth security checks cannot be guaranteed and to avoid long queues, no passenger flights will depart. Some arriving passenger flights will also be affected.
Airlines will inform affected passengers directly regarding the cancellation of flights. The airport urges passengers not to travel to the airport on 25 June. Brussels Airport says it regrets the inconvenience passengers will experience due to this industrial action.
The unions are again taking to the streets on 25 June in protest against the policies of the De Wever I government. For the first time, the liberal trade union ACLVB is also taking part.
