The US company Duravant has finalized its takeover of the west Flemish packaging company Pattyn. Pattyn announced that the acquisition had been completed in a press statement released on Thursday morning.
Pattyn is based in Bruges. For the past 70 years it has been specialised in automating bulk packaging processes. Many of Pattyn’s ccustomers are in the food industry. From its base in West Flanders, Pattyn operates globally and has production facilities in Belgium, France and Spain.
For its part the Illinois-based US company Duravant is specialised in automation solutions.
Duravant’s acquisition of Pattyn was initially announced in February. The financial details of the takeover have yet to be disclosed.
