The body of a man has been found in a park in the Montignies-sur-Sambre, a suburb of the Walloon city of Charleroi (Hainaut Province). The gruesome discovery was made on Wednesday morning and the news has been confirmed by the Charleroi prosecutor’s office.
Police and ambulance crews went to the park in Montignies-sur-Sambre on Wednesday morning. There they found the body of a man. The Francophone newspaper group Sudinfo says that the dead man had been stabbed.
The Charleroi prosecutor’s office will only confirm that a body has been found. They will issue a further statement on Thursday.
