Dry and pleasant weather during the coming days

Although there could be a few showers in areas of West Flanders and Hainaut Province that are close to the French border, Monday will remain dry in most of the country and this will remain the case during the coming week. The VRT’s weatherman Bram Verbrugge says that next weekend will be dry too.

Monday started off sunny with some high cloud gradually forming. During the course of the afternoon, there could be a few showers in areas in the west of West Flanders and Hainaut Province close to the French boarder. The showers could be quite heavy with the possibility of thunder and lightning and gusts of wind of up to 50 km/h. Temperatures will reach 20°C on the High Fens and 25°C in lowland areas of the country. In coastal areas temperatures will reach no higher than 23°C.

Tuesday will be very sunny with only a little high cloud in otherwise blue skies. Only in areas close to the French border could the day start off a little grey. Top temperatures will reach between 21°C and 26°C. In coastal areas there will be a moderate sea breeze.

Wednesday too will be sunny. During the afternoon though high cloud will form in the north. Maximum temperatures will reach 18°C in coastal areas and 24°C in inland areas. In the afternoon there will be a moderate sea breeze at the coast.

On Thursday there will be cloudy skies in the morning. However, cloud should clear by the afternoon. The wind will mean that it will be no warmer than 15°C in coastal areas. Inland it will get no warmer than 24°C.

Friday will be sunny, but cooler with temperatures reaching no higher than 15°C to 20°C. Winds will be moderate northeasterly.
