There has been another shooting in the Brussels municipality of Anderlecht. The Brussels South Local Police Service told the Brussels regional news platform Bruzz that several shots were fired on the Raphaëlstraat, a street not far from the Clemenceau metro station.
The area around the Clemenceau metro station has been the scene of several shootings in recent months. These are believed to be connected to the trade in illegal drugs.
The police say that this time no one was injured. As yet, no suspects have been detained in connection with the incident. The Brussels prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation to find out the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting.
