The Flemish shrimp-fishing season has started. In the resort of Oostduinkerke (West Flanders) the famous shrimp-fishers on horseback are pulling in the crowds. It’s an old tradition that the UN educational agency UNESCO has recognised as immaterial heritage and it remains a wonderful attraction.
