Adults learn how to ‘ride your bike’ at Ghent bike school

Being able to ride a bike gives you great liberty, but not everybody learns this skill at a young age. Fortunately, a new cycling school has just opened in Ghent. It is intended for adults and children who cannot learn to ride a bike at home by themselves and is proving especially popular among migrants who have settled in the city. Every year, the city initiative teaches 450 people to ride a bike.  There is even a waiting list. The school is established in the Muide district of Ghent, near the port, and the city authorities hope this location will allow them to help even more people from now on.
