Flemish Euro MPs scrutinise plans for EU return centres outside the EU (VIDEO)

The European Commission is freeing the way for people staying in the EU illegally to be sent to return centres outside the EU, ahead of their trip to their country of origin. Draft legislation was tabled in the European Parliament this week.  At present only one in five is returned. That’s often because they are not welcome in their home country, or because they do not want to leave the EU. (Report: Rob Heirbaut).
