The warmest weekend of the year is on the way, with temperatures reaching 20°C in Limburg, and the rest of Flanders as well as Brussels seeing the mercury reach 18° and 19°C. This includes the coast, which is expecting plenty of day-trippers during this final two days of the crocus school holiday.

The sun will also be shining, with clear or partly cloudy skies for the entire weekend. The temperatures start to decrease on Monday, with Limburg seeing about 15°C, central Belgium 14°C and the coast 11°C.

Temperatures will continue to dip in the course of the week to below 10°C, with even snow flurries being forecast as early as Tuesday. Lows will again reach freezing or below.

Temperatures remain chilly going into next weekend and the following week, with a forecast of 8° or 9°C, though it is expected to remain dry.
