‘I infiltrated the towers to expose the security flaws in our government buildings’ explains DielsMK, the YouTuber who, along with 3 others, made an incredible video about climbing the Iris and the Astro towers in Brussels. The Brussels employment service Actiris, which has its office in the Astro Tower, has filed a complaint against the YouTubers.

The video, produced as if the YouTubers were on a secret mission, shows how YouTuber DielsMK and 3 others, without much difficult, get inside the Iris Tower and Astro Tower, two Brussels skyscrapers measuring 137 and 107 metres respectively,
In both buildings, the foursome can climb to the highest point of the building. The images are hallucinatory, but the stunt meant they were risking their lives.
Perhaps even more hallucinatory is the ease with which the four get inside. In one tower, the YouTubers are dressed as staff members. In the other tower, which houses the Brussels employment service Actiris, the men can simply take the lift.
‘Normally we are closed to the public on Tuesday mornings,’ a staff member adds. The group replies that they have an appointment.
Actiris has now filed a complaint against the YouTubers. That the men managed to get in so easily can be explained, according to spokesperson Nora Ed-Daoui. ‘It is a public building. They entered just like ordinary jobseekers who make appointments,’ she said.
‘It is also very difficult to provide secure access for jobseekers. We are looking at the situation to understand where it went wrong and will make the necessary adjustments to security,’ Ms Ed-Daoui said.
