During an operation against drug dealing in and around Brussels South Railway Station police detained 15 suspects. Around 170 people were stopped and searched during the operation. In a post on social media platform Twitter, the Federal Police Service reports that almost 100 grammes of cannabis and just under 150,000 in cash were seized.
"147,965 euro, 91.60 grammes of marihuana, a firearm and a forged document were confiscated”.
In addition to drugs offences, 5 suspects were detained on suspicion of money laundering. Of the 171 that were stopped and searched by police, 15 were arrested.
