Telenet’s spokesman Bart Boone told VRT News that "During the night we carried out maintenance work on our mobile network. The work had been planend. However, something went wrong at the end and some customers had difficulty accessing the mobile internet network."
"Our network has been in reboot mode since 7am. This means that everything is being started up again. We are seeing that customers are being able to use the mobile network again, but the restart is a gradual process. It is difficult to give an exact time, but we are doing everything we can to ensure that everyone’s services are restored as quickly as possible”.
Television and Wi-Fi services have not been affected by the fault.
