NMBS says that sub-zero temperatures have resulted in issues with signals and overhead cables. This has resulted in some cancellations and delays. These are reported to be the result of the wintery weather in Wallonia. This has caused delays to services coming from Wallonia to Brussels.
Meanwhile, the rail company has issues with its website and app too. In a statement NMBS’ spokeman Vincent Bayer said that "Our teams are looking into the cause and are working to resolve the issues as quickly as possible. We advise passengers to pay attention to announcements at the station and the information boards".
