The Flemish government agency has launched a website that allows you to see how your neighbourhood voted in the local elections held on 13 October. It’s the first time the agency is making such detailed data available.
How to find a result:
First of all click on this LINK . Then click on fijnmazige resultaten (‘detailed results’). Now search the name of your municipality in Dutch.
If your municipality voted digitally, you will first be given the choice to select a sub-area (or district) of your municipality. If you click on that, you can then click through to the results for a specific polling station. The scores per party are now displayed.
If your municipality voted on paper, you will see the various counting stations. These are stations where the votes were counted. The votes from different polling stations come together here. Each counting station states which polling stations were counted there. Click on a counting station. Now the scores for each party are displayed.
A tip: if you still have your election card, you can find the number of your polling station there. That will allow you to look up how votes were cast in your precinct. Good luck!
