Friday 25 October is the birthday of Crown Princess Elisabeth. Today the woman that will become Belgium’s first female head of state turns 23. To mark the birthday of King Filp and Queen Mathilde’s oldest child, the Palace has released new photographs of Crown Princess Elisabeth, who is currently studying for a master’s degree at the prestigious Havard University in the United States.

Crown Princess Elisabeth started her 2-year master’s degree course in public policy last month. Previously she successfully completed a bachelor’s degree course at Lincoln College Oxford in the United Kingdom.
This year Crown Princess Elisabeth is celebrating her 23rd birthday a long way from home. She will probably return to Belgium just before Christmas to celebrate the festive season with her family. Traditionally when a member of the Belgian royal family celebrates their birthday the Palace releases photographs of them.
To mark the 23rd birthday of Crown Princess Elisabeth 2 photographs have been released. They show her walking through the streets of Boston between the Harvard campuses. The photographs were taken on a bright autumn day. Crown Princess Elisabeth is wearing high black boots and a two-piece ensemble. The sleeveless jacket and the long skirt were made by the ba&sh, a label often worn by the young Belgian royal.
