Brussels police have seized more than 30,000 euro in cash during searchers carried out as part of an investigation into suspected drug trafficking. 3 suspects have been detained.
The searches were carried out as part of an investigation into the activities of a drug gang that supplied customers across Brussels with cocaine that they ordered from the gang over the phone.
An examining magistrate issued an order for the searches to be carried out last week. Three suspects were detained, two of whom were released after questioning.
During the searches 31,475 euro in cash was seized as were 100g of cocaine and several luxury items. 1 suspect remains in custody.
