After a full day of negotiations on Monday, the three parties hoping to form a new Flemish coalition government resumed their talks on Tuesday morning. The negotiating teams from the Flemish nationalists, socialists and Christian democrats arrived at the office of the Flemish Prime Minister on the Martelaarsplein in downtown Brussels at around 10am.
On Monday the talks continued until around 7:30pm. On leaving the meeting the representatives of the three parties involved in the talks refrained from making any substantive comments.
However, the impression was given that the atmosphere around the negotiating table was constructive. Today’s talks are expected to continue until the evening.
