In the Antwerp Luchtbal district, three young men stole an ambulance to go joyriding last weekend. They took off with the vehicle while the ambulancemen were inside a building and involved in an operation. Dashcam footage shows the youngsters driving at high speed, with the passenger door still open. After a short drive, they abandoned the ambulance and disappeared.
One of the three suspects reported to the police yesterday evening. He was questioned, arrested and subsequently released as an investigation continues.
