The Marlow Local Police Service has launched an investigation after an explosion outside a block of flats in the Brussels municipality of Ukkel. Initial reports say that no one was injured in the blast. The explosion occurred in the Karmelietenstraat and caused some material damage.
The police are investigating the case but are refraining from comment for the time being.
A violent incident occurred at the same location at the end of July. Then a man was injured after being another person lashed out with a knife. Whether Tuesday night's blast was linked to the knife attack is as yet unclear.
