500 cars attend Balkan Krew’s illegal drift meeting in Geel (VIDEO)

The notorious drifters' club Balkan Krew staged the gathering on a car park near the Janssen-Pharmaceuticalaan, where there are no cameras. Drivers displayed their skills revving their vehicles’ engines and performing tricks with screeching tyres.
Local police that had secured back-up from federal police and neighbouring forces swiftly intervened breaking up the meeting. Nobody was arrested but police reports are being drawn up about the score of cars that were identified.
Balkan Krew is pressing for legal drifters’ circuits and as long as none are permitted will continue to organise illegal meetings.
