Brussels-based YouTuber ‘YaNike’ has posted another video showing how he mixed water, oil, beetroot juice and tree branches before throwing the mixture over an unsuspecting passenger on the Brussels metro. In November the YouTuber was arrested and detained for posting a similar video. Brussels local transport company MIVB has again filed a complaint.
YaNike posts YouTube video of metro passenger being drenched in oil and beetroot juice
Last November, Brussels-based YouTuber ‘YaNike’ was arrested after posting a similar video on YouTube. The video showed him making a mixture of oil, water and dog faeces and pouring it over an unsuspecting metro passenger. At the time the MIVB filed a complaint and the YouTuber was arrested and detained by an examining magistrate. The suspect then spent 14 days in pre-trial detention; his trial has yet to take place.
Now a similar video has appeared on YaNike’s YouTube channel. You again see him making a mixture and throwing it over a metro passenger. ‘These facts are incomprehensible and, above all, unacceptable and we immediately lodged a complaint,’ says MIVB's Guy Sablon. ‘He does not seem to realise the damage he is causing to our passengers and the MIVB. We are taking this very seriously.’
It is not yet clear, whether this is a new video or an old one that the YouTuber has re-posted online. ‘But in any case, this does not alter the fact that this is shocking and not acceptable’ says Mr Sablon.
