Monday evening police in the capital found a 19-year-old man, who had suffered gunshot wounds to the head on the Louizalaan, the Brussels public prosecutor's office says.

Moments earlier, police had received a phone call reporting the incident. They found the teen's body minutes later.
The victim had 2 gunshot wounds to the head and was taken to hospital, where he is fighting for his life.
The Brussels public prosecutor's office has launched an investigation. As yet, it remains unclear what exactly happened.
