Belgian interior minister Annelies Verlinden (Flemish Christian democrat) and Belgian justice minister Paul Van Tigchelt (Flemish liberal) joined members of the federal police holding a minute’s silence to honour their 36-year-old colleague, a member of the special intervention squad, who was killed during an attempt to search a property in Lodelinsart (Charleroi – Wallonia) on Monday.
