Petrol becomes a lot more expensive on Thursday with the price reaching its highest level since October last year says the Belgian economy ministry.
Anybody still needing to fill up a tank should do so today.
The maximum price for a litre of petrol 95 (E10) will rise by 4.4 cents to EUR 1.784 per litre. The maximum price for a litre of petrol 98 (E5) will rise 5.2 cents to 1.989 euros for a litre.
Refuelling hasn’t been this expensive since mid-October last year. The reason for the price rise is the increase in the price of oil products on international markets.
