Fewer and fewer people are dying on Belgian roads. Last year there were 7 per cent fewer road deaths according to figures from Belgian traffic institute Vias. 483 people were killed on Belgian roads last year. The number of fatalities is down 37 on the year. The figure is a record low if the years of the pandemic are not taken into account. The number of injured people also fell slightly by 2 per cent.
