Two new recycle parks in Brussels

A new recycle park Recypark Buda along the Vilvoordsesteenweg is opening in Haren in the City of Brussels on 25 March.  A second new recycle park Recypark Demets opens in Anderlecht later this year.

The recycle parks or Recyparks are run by the Brussels refuse agency Net Brussel that also collects household waste from your door.

The opening of Recypark Buda triggers the closure of the Recypark North near the Van Praet Bridge and it will no longer be possible to get rid of large household waste or sorted waste here.  The refuse agency says that that park has had its day and conditions are no longer appropriate for today’s workers.

The new Recypark Buda is twice the size of its predecessor and includes 15 containers for sorted waste.  Most of the recycle park is covered and extra lanes have been added to smooth the traffic through the park.

The Recypark Demets is set to open on the Demets Quay in Anderlecht in September.
