A Belgian military aircraft has left Melsbroek military airbase outside Brussels bound for Jordan. The aircraft is carrying emergency aid for the people of Gaza. The aid will be dropped in the Gaza Strip by the Belgian military plane in conjunction with the Royal Jordanian Air Force. The plan is for Belgium to send several shipments of ten tons in all. The present aircraft is the first to leave Belgian soil for the Hashemite Kingdom. It’s the Belgian air force’s brand-new Airbus 400 and the first time this plane is being used for an operation.
