Belgium to supply humanitarian aid to Gaza by airdrop

The Federal Inner Cabinet has decided to supply humanitarian aid to Gaza. The aid will be dropped onto the war-ravaged territory from a Belgian military plane. The announcement that Belgium is to airdrop humanitarian aid into Gaza was made by the Belgian Defence Minister Ludivine Dedonder (Francophone socialist). Both the Netherlands and France had already decided to drop aid from the air over Gaza. Belgium is expected to send 100,000 euro’s worth of humanitarian aid to help the people of Gaza. A military aircraft will leave Belgium on Monday for Jordan, from where the supplies should be dropped from the air over Gaza. It is not yet known when the airdrops will commence.
