Farmers continue their protests. In Bruges (West Flanders) a thousand farmers parked their tractors outside the Nature and Forestry Agency. The agency is keen to expand the nature reserve in the valleys of Handzame and the River IJzer. In time the entire area will be turned into a nature reserve. Farmers are worried they will struggle to obtain licences, if they are issued at all. That they believe will sound the death knell for farming in the Westhoek District of West Flanders.
