Police and the Limburg Judicial Authorities are investigating a suspicious death in the village of Gruitrode, in the municipality of Oudbergen. A 54-year-old woman was found dead in her home. The CARMA Local Police Service confirms that the woman died a violent death.

The Limburg Judicial Authorities and the CARMA Local Police Service are investigating the suspicious death of a 54-year-old woman in Gruitrode (Oudsbergen). The woman’s body was found at around 2:15pm at her home on the Steenstraat.
Little is known about the exact circumstances surrounding the woman’s death. However, the police confirm that she died violently. The woman's husband has gone missing.
A pathologist and a forensics team went to the scene. The Judicial Authorities are as yet unable to provide any information about possible suspect. An Examining Magistrate has been appointed to lead the murder investigation.
