An Evening with President Barack Obama will take place at the Studio 100 Pop-Up Theater on 17 March, as part of the SuperNova technology festival in Puurs, Antwerp province.

SuperNova was held for the first time in 2018 in Antwerp, as a combination of a conference with well-known speakers and a technology fair with demonstrations. The plan was for it to be a biennial event, but the pandemic made that impossible. The second edition of the festival will now take place on March 21 and 22.

A few days before the event, Obama will participate in “a moderated conversation about the challenges we face and his vision for the future”.

SuperNova will also feature speakers from high-profile technology companies such as IDEO, Tesla, NASA, Apple and Wired. There will be talks with local entrepreneurs and promising start-ups and scale-ups will have the chance to pitch to a group of international investors.
