Some 100 Belgian military personnel will travel to Denmark to turn Ukrainian airmen into F-16 pilots. In March and April staff from Florennes take the lead. In August and September it is the turn of staff from Kleine Brogel.
Each team will be accompanied by two two-seater aircraft. Ukrainian pilots will fly with a Belgian pilot during practice flights. Last year, two staff members were already sent from Kleine Brogel to teach Ukrainian pilots theory courses.
