Eurostar trains have been seriously disrupted due to current weather conditions in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany. “There are interruptions to the lines between Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris and Cologne,” says Eurostar spokesperson Cordula Descheemaeker. “We have had to cancel a number of trains, and others are running behind schedule,” she confirmed.

She provided details for two specific weather-related incidents that have wreaked havoc on the schedule today. “One Eurostar train that was enroute from Amsterdam to Paris via Brussels came to a halt for quite some time near Machelen. Another had to be towed into Paris.”

Eurostar is asking passengers to cancel their bookings if possible. Tickets cancelled today will be fully reimbursed or can be changed to another date at no extra charge.
