The union says its responding to a decision by the management to resume talks with the trades unions.  Unions are unhappy with the state-owned rail company’s plans to make Belgian rail more efficient.  The Christian and liberal unions also oppose the plans but decided not to join the socialist union in strike action.  The strike would have been the third rail strike since the autumn.
