At Brussels Airport in Zaventem (Flemish Brabant) passengers have been warned to expect delays as a result of the snow. Our video shows the situation around noon.
So far, few problems have been reported from the biggest Belgian airport. Airport teams are at the ready and will clear runways as soon as they get snowed under.
The only flights that are facing serious problems are ones bound for the Federal Republic of Germany. Flights to Frankfurt and Munich are particularly badly affected. Some flights have had to be cancelled. The airport authorities are urging travellers to log onto the airport website for a latest update in information.
