These meadows in Werchter (Flemish Brabant) are world famous. It’s where the Rock Werchter music festival and other concerts are held. Today the ground is saturated and the rain of recent days has resulted in flooding. The cold snap has now also had an impact and turned the flooded fields into an ice rink. A number of people have already ventured onto the ice on their skates, but caution is needed. The ice isn’t thick enough everywhere and the cold snap is slowly drawing to a close.
