Possible flooding

The Flemish Waterways Board’s Waterinfo website reports that it is scaling up to a “state of vigilance” on our region’s unnavigable waterways. With a lot of rain forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday some unnavigable waterways will burst their banks and flood fields and pastures.

A bridge on the river Dender in the centre of Ninove (East Flanders) has already been raised due to high water levels and it will remain raised until at least tomorrow (Tuesday).
